Willow Creek Farmhouse Fall Tour

Willow Creek Farmhouse front porch

Welcome to the Willow Creek Farmhouse fall tour. Working with the incredible people over at miniatures.com I was able to create this fall inspired setting for my miniature farmhouse.

My most favourite part of this fall tour has got to be the kitchen prep table, which is styled to look like it’s in full pumpkin pie making mode. The table is an unfinished piece that I stained and antiqued to give it that much loved and used look. The pots tucked under the table are terra-cotta pots that I hand-painted, each with a slightly different look. I used a rustic wash pot to hold the multi colour gourds which are a must for any fall setting. And last, but not least, are one of my most favourite pieces, the adorable carved pumpkin and delicious pumpkin pie.

Of course no fall kitchen is complete without some fall flowers and foliage in the sink, and a collection of cookbooks on the counter. I absolutely adore these cookbooks from miniatures.com, they are the perfect addition to any kitchen. The embossed brown pots I have in the kitchen are probably meant for being outside in a garden, but I think they work just perfectly indoors as well, especially with some fall flowers.

Next up on the fall tour is the coffee station, which seems to be a must have in most houses these days. The coffee mugs are absolutely perfect and I love that the mugs can be separated from the saucer for multiple styling options. The little brown pitcher is also from miniatures.com and is just too cute with some flowers giving the coffee station that classic fall feel.

HBS Miniatures also has an amazing collection of miniature pottery perfect for any fall display. The 3 cute mustard and white olive jars, large white pitcher, aged embossed brown jug and the brown planter are just a few of their pieces perfect for showcasing some pretty fall foliage.

Now for a peek at the fall inspired dining room table decor. I love using greenery on any table setting and the little gourds on each plate are the perfect addition for a fall inspired design. The plates were actually white originally and I just painted them a sage green to make fit more with the warm autumn decor. Completing the dining table look are the cute ribbed glassware, classic flatware and the three natural wood candles.

So there you have it, fall at the Willow Creek Farmhouse. Now I can’t wait to start decorating for Christmas, or is that too soon? Probably a little too soon, right? :-)
