Mini Mundus Hallway/Bathroom

When you’re building miniature houses not everything has to be “real”. For example, I knew I wanted a bathroom in this house, but I didn’t want to build an entire bathroom, so I put in a wall with a door that peeks into a “bathroom”. Seeing only the vanity is all you need to know, “hey, there’s a bathroom there.” ;-)

For the vanity I used this kit and added a large white bowl for the sink. The oval mirror and bathroom accessories finish the look. On the floor I used this tile and on the wall this wallpaper. Having just a little peek into the bathroom is enough to make you think it’s all really there behind that door.

In the hall I used a wood parquet for the flooring, the stripe portion from this wallpaper, gold antique picture frame and this dresser kit which I painted a light forest green. I love how this hallway gives so much more interest to the second floor and makes the house look grand.

Mini Mundus has beautiful wood trim, baseboards and crown molding which take any room from plain to high end, all you have to do is paint or stain it.

Last room on this floor is the bedroom. See you in the next post!
