Fox Creek Farm

Fox Creek Farm was my first mini house. I bought the house in January 2020 on a complete whim and I started my IG account the very next day so that I could document my journey in designing it.

I knew immediately when I saw this house that I had to do it up in a traditional white farmhouse style, with a few modern touches. The colours and design style are very similar to my own house and in fact, the little girls room in this house takes much of its inspiration from my own daughter’s room.

My design style incorporates soft muted colours and lots of natural elements like linen and wood accents. I also installed battery LED lights throughout the inside and exterior of the house, which is now one of my favourite features.

Since Fox Creek Farm was my first mini home, I made my fair share of mistakes building it. However, it gave me the opportunity to learn so much and I wouldn’t change a thing.
