I found my Beacon Hill house on FB Marketplace. The original owner built it more that 30+ years ago and although the house was in great shape, it was very dated and in need of updating.

Originally the house was a dark blue and the interior had a lot of old very patterned wallpaper. I kept the original woodwork throughout the house and updated almost all of the wallpaper, except for in the laundry room and the small bit around the front door.

I also gave the entire exterior a makeover. I repainted everything, including the roof and added some copper roof accents. I removed a lot of the ornate trim work that was on the exterior and give it a more classic and cleaner look.

I still have a few things to complete such as the railing on the balcony and some finishing details in the interior, but it’s so close.
